These Terms of Service govern your use of Lango (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the Lango app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the app.
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Lango solely for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
Lango uses AI for prompt generation and text-to-speech. Voice recognition is handled on-device by your device’s built-in speech recognition system. We do not store or record your voice. Transcribed text may be sent to third-party servers to generate AI responses. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content and are not responsible for any consequences arising from your reliance on such content. We advise users to exercise caution and independently verify important information.
We only collect information necessary to authenticate your account and store your app data. This may include chat conversations, learning words, language preferences, and related metadata. All data will be deleted when you delete your account. We do not track users or use targeted ads.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lango and its affiliates, officers, employees, or licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages (including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption) arising out of your use of the app. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, to use the app.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lango, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of or connected with your use of the app or violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with the effective date. Continued use of the app following changes means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Deleware, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
